    Day 11  - Thursday, May 4 - 95 miles


    Welcome to Texas!  Today was another dayDay  of headwinds but I was better prepared for them had a much better day.  We're staying in Dalhart, TX a friendly town where a farmer actually drove slowly enough for me to follow him to the Wells Fargo bank.  Here's a pic of me at the border.


     



    Tomorrow we go to Pampa, Texas with another day of headwinds, this time with rain.  Well I was probably too dry anyway.  Headwinds are not my specialty, but I'm getting a lot of practice so hooray for me.
