  • Day 12 - Friday, May 5 - 110 miles


    Headwinds again!  This time with rain and fog.  I was convinced we'd get no love from Texas today, but around mile 40 the weather managed to clear and I had a great afternoon.  I was the first one in by about 20 minutes today, mostly because of my hauling ass ahead of an impending storm.  Good thing I did because some of the riders behind me got hailed on.  Hail!  Tomorrow looks like more of the same but it's a shorter day and we'll be in Oklahoma.
