Day 10 – Wednesday, May 3 – 110 Miles
Today had such promise. Only 110 miles (?!?) with a 3000 foot descent. But we didn’t count on the 25 mph headwinds so today pretty much sucked. But it’s over now and tomorrow is a measly 97 miles so headwinds or not it’s going to be shorter. We passed over the 1000 cumulative mile mark.
Don’t I look delighted?? We’ll be halfway through the ride in another couple of days. My knees are holding up and I’m feeling pretty well.
