    I got up and walked Rufus and then headed out pretty early on my bike.  It was sunny in Corona Heights foggy everywhere west of Twin Peaks.  I headed out 18th to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose Ave into Glen Park and then I took Monterey Ave to Junipero Serra and then went towards Ocean.  I took this pic of the steps at Balboa Terrace:

    Then I headed around Lake Merced and then up the Great Highway. I stopped in Golden Gate Park to take some pics of the South Windmill.  It's also known as the Murphy Windmill because a gift from  Samuel Murphy funded it in 1905.  I think they shipped it off to the Netherlands for repair a couple of years ago and the site it kind of a mess today.  I kept expecting Nancy Drew to show up "This isn't an old mill at all!  It's a new mill!".  Instead there were just a couple of chesters and I don't think they were solving mysteries.

    From there I headed up to the Palace of the Legion of Honor and then into the Presidio, out the Arguello Gate, back into Golden Gate Park, into the Haight, and then Waller to Cole to Grattan to Belvedere to Clayton to Corbett and home.
