Saturday I had a very productive day and managed to nag Mr. Poe into doing everything that I wanted. I started off by wading through my music collection and deleting a whole bunch of stuff. I’ve got so much music that it’s difficult to navigate and I’d been meaning to go through it for a long time. I got cleaned up when I finished and we went to the grocery store and had lunch when we got home. Then we headed down to Union Square and hung out with Miss Smith and Daniel for a while which was a total treat because we don’t see them very often. Then we headed up Nob Hill and stopped into pretty Grace Cathedral which has some Benny Bufano in it:
We headed over to Russian Hill because I wanted to see the Blue Angels. We couldn’t see them very well but what we did see was awesome. Here’s Mr. Poe on Russian Hill. Hello Gorgeous:
We headed down into Chinatown and then over to Union Square where we had a snack at SC Asian– the newish restaurant downstairs at Macy where Wolfgang Puck used to be. It’s good but not great. We went there because I was starving and it was there. There are surprisingly few choices right on Union Square. Here’s Mr. Poe waiting for his crab cakes:
We did some shopping and then headed home for dinner and I went to bed very early. It was an action packed day.
