We've had some weather.  It's been rainy and incredibly cold.  I had to get my hair cut on Saturday and then we had the Different Spokes Christmas party so I didn't ride on Saturday.  Sunday it rained all day and I didn't leave the house.  Here's sweet little Ashley passed out in front of the fire on Sunday afternoon:

It was very wet but not raining when I left for work.  It was too cold and too wet for any sort of a long ride so I just came down Market into work.  It was a little nicer when I went home for lunch.  Here's out pretty Christmas tree:

    And the boys lounging:

When I started heading back to work I saw this ominous cloud heading my way so I hurried as much as I could:

    Me at Church and Market:

I managed to get back to work before the rain started up again.  After work I rode Sutter to Steiner into Sanchez to Market to 17th to Ord and home.  It started raining again as I was coming up the hill and pretty much poured for the rest of the night.

It was freezing cold again this morning.  And I'm sick of it.  I headed off Corbett to Portola to Woodside to Dewey to Taravel and down to the coast.  I came up the Great Highway and stopped by the Cliff House for a pic of the beach looking south:

The sun rising behind the north windmill:

I continued up to Geary and then took 34th to the Palace of the Legion of Honor.  Which I hadn't visited all week.  I believe it missed me:

The golf course.  Apparently this is the site of a former cemetery.  I wonder whether some of the structures in it are from that time:

Me at the Palace of the Legion of Honor:

They finally finished repainting the Gay and Lesbian Center.  I like the colorscheme they picked which, interestingly enough, is neither of the two choices were asked to vote on.  Isn't that always the case:
