It was really pretty this morning.  Cool and clear.  I'll take it.  I headed out Corbett to Portola to Fowler to Juanita to Miraloma to Yerba Buena.  It was so clear I could see all the way to the San Mateo Bridge and beyond:

This is Brentwood from Yerba Buena looking south to Westwood Highlands.  This neighborhood can be really foggy but it's so gorgeous when it's not:

This is me at that intersection.

I continued on Yerba Buena to Monterey to Northgate to Darien to San Fernando to Ocean to Clearfield into 34th to Yorba to 35th to Vicente and down to the coast.  I came up the Great Highway and then went into Golden Gate Park at MLK.  I continued on MLK to Middle to JFK into the Panhandle and then Baker to McAllister to Larkin to Bush to Sansome and into work.

It was a gorgeous morning and we all had a fantastic ride.  For a change.  I'd misses the last FOUR cat series rides.  The first three because I'd been sick and the last one because it was monsoonin'.  But today was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time.  We went out to Lagunitas which is a cute little town in the country in Marin,

Here's Ben talking to people.  and people listening to him:

Here's Joe Mueller as Bosley and Regan, Courtney and Monica.

As usual, I spent a good amount of time pointing.  It's really what I do best:

And here's a shot of my bike with its' fancy new drive train.  It's really nice.  I'm getting new wheels for it pretty soon and then it's gonna be ready for the ride:

Here's Tia, who swept the first part of the ride:

And Sandra who swept it as well:

Everybody kept stretching like we asked them to:

This is Brendan.  He's from LA and he came up to do our training ride.  Super nice and super cute:

This is the Marina in Sausalito as we were heading back:

When I got home I ate a little food and then we took Rufus and Ashley to the dog park!  Today was Ashley's second visit.  He was a little skittish the first time and wanted me to hold him but there were a couple fewer dogs this time and he played and played.  Rufus had a great time too but he always does.

Then we headed home and I went to bed.  Great day!

After work I headed off down Howard Street.  This is a beautiful industrial building with cool deco detail on Howard between 7th and 8th:

Mr. Poe called while I was taking these pics and I talked to him for a while and let me tell you,  the crackheads south of market don't get bluetooth technology at all and couldn't figure out who I was talking too.  I think this freaky chic with really nasty teeth thought I was talkin' to Jesus.

I continued down Howard to 11th to Folsom to 26th.  This building is at 26th and Valencia.  It has a really pretty entrance:

And here's a shot of me from that intersection:

I took Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose Ave to Wilder to Diamond to Monterey to WestGate to Darien to Ocean to Eucalyptus to Middlefield to Lake Merced to Skyline to Great Highway where the sun was just setting:  This is the Marin Headlands against a pretty red sky:

I continued on Great Highway to Kirkham to 7th to Judah into Parnassus to Clayton to 17th and then home.
