I headed off after work up Columbus into North Beach and then through Fisherman's Wharf and into Fort Mason. I got this great picture of the fog rolling into the North Bay with Fort Mason in the foreground:
I continued through Fort Mason into the Marina. I rode around the Marina a bit and
went into the Presidio at the Lombard Gate and then came out at the
Presidio Gate. I went Presidio to Washington to Maple to Parker and up onto Lone Mountain. I got these shots of Saint Ignatius from Parker Street:I took Parker to McAllister to Arguello and into Golden Gate Park. I went to the Music Concourse where the exterior of the new California Academy of Science building looks nearly complete:
Here's a sculpure of Junipero Serra. And here I thought he was just a street:
And one of me:
I rode through park and exited at Kezar stadium and headed down Frederick. I love this building! I think it's a gym and there's another building a few doors down that's almost completely identical. Love it!
Check out the detail!
I continued Frederick to 2nd to Carl to Shraeder to Carmel to Clayton to Corbett and then home. Jeff was at class so I had a little dinner and took the dogs for a long walk. Total bike mileage: 32.6
