The weather was gorgeous in the morning. I forgot my camera so no pics of my AM ride. I rode Corbett to Clayton to Frederick to Parnassus into Judah and then followed that to the ocean. I rode up the Great Highway to Geary up to the Palace of the Legion of Honor and then down into the Presidio. I came out of the Presidio in the Marina and then went over Fort Mason and up Columbus into work.
The weather was so nice after work that I skipped my class so I could go riding. I headed up Columbus into Fisherman's Wharf and then up over Fort Mason into the Marina. I followed Marina Blvd into the Presidio. I took these pics from Crissy Field:
Silly birds:
That's Alcatraz island in the background:
737 taking off for somewhere:
I headed up into the Presidio and got on Lincoln Blvd. I stopped at Immigrant Point to take some pics. It was realy pretty there:
I ran into my pal Dave Glidden as I was leaving Immigrant Point. We rode through the Presidio and came out at the 15th Ave gate by the spooky abandoned hospital. I stopped and got some pics of some stunt pilots getting ready for Fleet Week:
We took 15th Ave to Fulton into Golden Gate Park at the Rose Garden. We came out at 9th Ave. Doesn't Dave look delighted to almost be home??
Dave went home and I took Judah into Parnassus to Clayton to 17th and then home. Jeff had a meeting so I had a little dinner and then took the dogs for a long walk. Mimi was so tired when we got back that she fell asleep on the wood floor in the middle of the bed room. I felt the same way. Total bike mileage: 33.7
