Friday I came into work Market to Laguna to Grove to Polk to O'Farrell to Powell to Post to Kearny to Bush to Sansome.  I stayed downtown for lunch and intended on going on a ride after work, but I got a call from Mike's on Howard that my bike was ready so I headed home a little early and waited for Mr. Poe and he drove me down to go pick it up.  On the way home he dropped me off in the Castro and I got him a pizza to reward him for being so sweet.

Saturday I led a Different Spokes ride out to Marshall up the famous Marshall Wall.  It was just my friend David and I and we had a great day.  The weather was perfect:  warm and sunny with hardly any wind.  I took this picture at Cheese Factory and it was probably the nicest shot I've ever gotten there:

From Cheese Factory there was a whole lot of climbing until the top of the coastal mountains above Bolinas Bay.  Perfect:

    The view from halfway down:

It was so clear you could even see Dillon Beach which is pretty unusual:

From there we headed down to Point Reyes Station for lunch which was kind of a fail.  I got a burrito from Palace Market and first they told me that they were out of rice which was unfortunate but not a deal breaker.  So I waited and waited and when it finally came out it was cold and not good at all.  I was so hungry it didn't really matter but they are now ON MY LIST.  From there we headed back to Fairfax and then home.  I had managed to acquire an extreme hankering for donuts on my way home and there was no way I was gonna try to get David to guard our bikes while I went in because I'm already a bit slower than him and at the end of the day it was just too much to ask.  So I headed home and got cleaned up and asked Mr. Poe to take me and he hauled me to Whole Foods in the Haight without any complaints whatsoever.  So sweet!  Then we headed home where I at donuts and also a proper dinner and was in bed before 8.  Fabulous day.

Thursday was only supposed to be a little wet and even then only in the commute but in fact it poured down rain til after lunch so I didn't get any biking in all.  Unfortunate.

Friday was a whole lot better and I came into work Market to Laguna to Grove to Polk to O'Farrell to Post to Kearny to Bush to Sansome.  I had burrito for lunch and then went for a walk mid day.  I had so much fun visiting the roof garden at 1 Kearny with Mr. Chris and David (documented here) that I thought I'd visit another roof terrace.  So headed over to 150 California.  The terrace is on the 6th floor so it doesn't have the greatest views but it's pretty and spacious:

Then I headed over to the Embarcadero which as usual was bustling:

I headed over to Pepples Donuts.  Which are both vegan and fucking delicious.  Check this shit out:

Full up on sugar, I headed back to my office.

Tuesday I came into work Market to Laguna to Grove to Polk to O'Farrell to Powell to Post to Kearny to Bush to Sansome.  I headed home for lunch and had intended on going for a bike ride after work but it was so cold and miserable that I went and hung out with Mr. Chris instead.  We watched RuPaul's Drag Race --  I love Sharon Needles -- and then I headed home Folsom to Main to Howard to 11th to Folsom to 18th to Douglass to 17th to Ord home for dinner.

Wednesday I worked from home in the morning.  I was kind of hoping that my Lifecycle training ride was gonna be rained out because I had made a contingency museum plan.  There's a Jean Paul Gautier exhibit at the De Young and you know how I love me some dresses.  But mid day the weather was dry so I headed over to the Golden Gate Bridge to see if any riders showed up.  One did, Nakeyshia, and we had a great ride out to Mill Valley.  We got a little drizzled on once we got on the north side of the bridge but it wasn't much.  Here she is in Mill Valley:

We made great time to Mill Valley and she was up for a couple extra miles so we headed through the tunnel and went to Rodeo Beach:

    Me:

We headed back to San Francisco.  My rear shifting cable snapped in the shifter in the tunnel which is a huge disaster.  Of course I was stuck in my hardest gear.  I managed to make my across the bridge and down to Sports Basement where the very nice boys there took my shifter apart to fish out the broken pieces and then put a new cable on it.  It took almost an hour and they only charged me $13.  I couldn't believe it.  So cheap!  I thanked the guy excessively for being a quality pimp and told him he made me feel like a 'classy piece of ass'.  From Sports Basement I headed to the Marina to Cervantes to Bay to Laguna to Green to Gough to Broadway to Octavia to Pacific to Fillmore to Clay to Spruce to Washington to Arguello to Lake to 8th and into Golden Gate Park.  I headed over to the Music Concourse and got a pic of the De Young:

I came out of the park at 9th to Judah to 7th into Laguna Honda to Portola to Corbett to Ord and home for dinner.  After dinner I got cleaned up and we went to bed early.
