Tuesday I came into work Market to 14th to Folsom to 2nd to Market to Sansome. I headed home for lunch and got some pics of the dogs. Here’s Rufus standing a little too close to the Christmas tree:
So very, very handsome:
Here are the dogs waiting for Poodie Claus. Poodie Claus is the magical Chrismas Poodle that brings yummy snacks for all the dogs on Chistmas day. He doesn’t get all up in your business like Santa with naughty this and nice that and all that relentless list making, checking, and rechecking– like Santa is a Chrismas auditor or something. Poodie Claus has snacks for every dog!:
These are the bundt cakes I made Monday night all sugared and ready for delivery to the neighbors:
This was the view from our front porch. We’re letting the vines grow down to block the view of an ugly house across the street. It will also spare the neighbors the view of me running around the house starkers in the morning trying to get ready:
Mr. Poe’s keeping the vines trimmed on the view side, however:
After work I headed down 2nd and got a nice pic of the pretty buildings at Mission and 2nd:
I continued on 2nd to 11th to Bryant to 24th to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose to Monterey to Ridgewood to Flood to Hazelwood to Greenwood to Plymouth to Wildwood to Faxon. I can report that Westwood Park has the best Christmas decorations in the city that I’ve seen so far. I continued on Faxon to De Montefort to Ashton to Pico to Urbano to Moncado to Cerritos to Winston to 20th to Eucalyptus to 21st to Ocean to Clearfield into 34th to Yorba to Crestlake to Wawona to 33rd to Vicente to 17th to Taravel to Dewey to Laguna Honda into 7th to Hugo to 3rd to Frederick to Stanyan to Page to Scott to Duboce to Castro to 17th to Ord and home for dinner.
I had little work to finish up after dinner and then I wrapped Mr. Poe’s Christmas presents. I found this fabulous Hello Kitty Christmas paper (so kawaii!) at the Target and it looks fantastic with the pink and silver theme we’ve got going on the tree this year. It may look like a lot of presents, but shopping for Mr. Poe is very, very easy because he refuses to buy himself anything at all. So he always needs tons of stuff. Also, he really likes having and opening presents so each package only contains on item. He will likely spread the present opening over many days and likely there will still be presents under the tree in January when the tree comes down. I love Mr. Poe. His strangeness is so adorable.
I got all the wrapping paper mess cleaned up and I went to bed.

Just wanted to say I am loving your pictures. I don’t get to get out much because I don’t have a car, but I love San Francisco and wish I could see all the sites at all times of the day. I may end up moving to the city next year, but for now, your pictures are giving me the views I am missing out on. So thank you for posting them and I hope you post more so I can continue to see all the beautiful pics of San Francisco and surrounding areas.
