It was a little warmer this morning then it's been this week, which was nice.  There's a storm rolling in tonight and tomorrow but I'm hoping I'm still going to be able to ride this weekend.  Today I headed off 17th to Douglass to 18th to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose to Wilder to Diamond to Monterery into Santa Clara to Portola to Claremont to Merced to Hernandez to Laguna Honda to Ulloa to Portola to Twin Peaks and up to the viewing platform.  A little cloudy but gorgeous nonetheless:

    Me:

I came down Twin Peaks to Clayton to Ashbury to Frederick to Masonic to Page to Baker.  I love this building at Baker and Fulton:

    Such fabulous detail:

I continued on Baker to McAllister to Polk to Eddy to Larkin where I stopped for pics of the Little Saigon dogs.  Which totally remind me of Ashley Jr:

The view up Larkin from Eddy:

I continued on Larkin to O'Farrell to Powell to Post to Kearny to Bush to Sansome and into work.

After work I headed out Sutter to Fillmore to Clay to Spruce to Washington to Arguello to Lake to 8th to Cabrillo to 47th to Fulton to the Great Highway and down the coast.  Then I took Kirkham to 7th into Laguna Honda to Portola to Corbett to Ord and home for dinner.  I had to work on homework til late so there was no fun for Joseph.

I managed to get up and go riding this morning.  Two days in a row!  Let's all hope that this spell of extended laziness has passed.  I headed off Corbett to Portola to Woodside to Dewey to Taravel and down to the coast.  I came up the Great Highway and stopped at the Cliff House for a few pics of the beach.  Gorgeous:

    The North Windmill:

I got on Geary to 34th and up to the Palace of the Legion of Honor.  Which looked beautiful in the cold morning sun:

    Me:

I headed down Camino Del Mar to Lake to Arguello to Clay.  I stopped for a pic of some of the gorgeous homes in --  I think this is Pacific Heights but it might be Presidio Heights:

I continued on Clay to Fillmore to Post and I stopped for a couple pics of Japantown:

I continued on Post to Kearny to Bush to Sansome and into work.

It seemed to get even colder as the day progressed.  I think that was probably because the marine layer started moving in and it got damp.  I headed home for lunch and got a few pics on the way back.  This is the view from Van Ness and Market.  It's a little underwhelming as none of these buildings are much more than a meh.  The five story building in the foreground is likely hiding a gorgeous early twentieth century building under that crappy modern facade.  I keep fantasizing that they will restore it:

This is the view looking back up Market from 8th.  Hazy and cold:

It seemed like it had warmed up a little by the end of the day but maybe it was just me.  After work I headed off 2nd to Howard to 11th to Harrison to 22nd to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose to Wilder to Diamond to Monterey into Santa Clara to Portola to Claremont to Dewey into Laguna Honda into 7th to Judah to 9th and into Golden Gate Park.  I went through the Music Concourse and came out of the park at 8th to Cabrillo to Arguello to Turk to Baker to Hayes to Scott to Duboce to Noe to Market to 17th to Ord and home for dinner.
