I rode down Market into work and noted how many people seem to be commuting this spring. Which is good for the environment but bad for me because a lot of them ride like douches.

After work I headed off Columbus to North Point to Van Ness to Francisco to Chestnut to Lyon and into the Presidio at the Lombard Gate.  I came around on Lincoln into Camino Del Mar up to the Palace of the Legion of Honor.  I headed down to 34th to Cabrillo to 47th and into Golden Gate Park where I took JFK to the Panhandle and then Stanyan to Page to Scott to Duboce to Castro to 17th and home for dinner.  It was a good ride.

I was very tired and a little sore from all the riding I did over the weekend so Monday and Tuesday I just came in and home from work on the bike and Tuesday I didn't even go home for lunch.  By Wednesday my legs had forgiven which was fortunate because the weather's been fantastic.  Little Ashley Jr. was lounged outside while I was home for lunch:

    Adorable:

After work I headed off 2nd to Howard to 11th to Harrison to 25th where a little alley called Lilac cought my eye.  It's a run down alley with the most extraordinary murals.  Amazing, vibrant murals!  Check it out:

Unbelievable!  I continued on Lilac to 26th to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose to Wilder to Diamond to Monterey into Santa Clara to Portola to Claremont to Dewey to Laguna Honda into 7th to Irving to 9th and into Golden Gate Park.  I rode through the Music Concourse to JFK to 8th to Lake to Arguello to Washington to Scott to Jackson to Laguna to Market to 17th to Ord and home.  Mr. Poe had to work late so I made dinner for the dogs and cleaned up and waited for him to get home.

Sunday I led a Lifecycle ride out to Petaluma on Sunday.  It was a great day.  We were ride leader light because most of the pos peds were on the Jon Pon ride but we didn't get a whole lot of riders and it worked out especially because we had a sag vehicle (thanks again Bob!) which was such a luxury.  I swept as usual and we all had a great day.  We ran into the Jon Pon ride on the way home and they all seemed to be having an awesome time.  I was a little jealous.

Nicasio is still green and fabulous:

This is the view from the top of Wilson Hill:

Some of our riders having lunch.  Check out the couple in the background:

This lady is bringin' it.  I'm absolutely not mocking her.  If I can still rock a full on afro at her age It's gonna be a total win.  And it is not a wig:

    Beautiful Nicasio Reservoir:

I hung out with Beau, David and Buz in from Fairfax and then went home.  I was completely beat.  I had dinner and then watched Dr. Who.  Which was amazing and thrilling.  I went to bed around 9PM.  I was completely beat.

Saturday I led a Different Spokes ride out Chileno Valley to Tomales.  It was a really pretty day but very windy and we got terrible headwinds all the way through Chileno Valley that totally kicked my ass.  I don't think I'm going to be doing that ride in that direction again.  We didn't see any riders heading through Chileno Valley to Tomales but we saw tons of riders going the other way and they all looked very happy.  Serge and Cameron came with me and I think we all had a pretty good day.  It was exhausting, but exhileratingly beautiful and I haven't been through Chileno Valley in a long, long time.

We ran into the back of the Jonathon Pon ride on our way out to the Cheese Factory.  Here's Buz sweepin':

Serge and Cameron at the Cheese Factory:

Beautiful Tomales Bay.  You can't see the white caps but they were there.  It was very, very windy:

I made it home around 6:30.  Mr. Poe had cooked me dinner and brought me cupcakes.  What a guy.

I couldn't get it together Friday morning and just came down Market into work.  I met Nathan for a slightly disappointing lunch.  I've been waiting for Loving Hut to open at Westfield Center forever and giddily ran there to meet Nathan on Friday but, alas, it wasn't open yet.  Which gave me the sads.  I got a burrito which was pretty good and Nathan celebrated narrowly avoiding vegan food by getting a pizza with sausage and cheese.  I got a cupcake on my way back to the office which cheered me up.

After work I headed off 2nd to Howard to 11th to Bryant to 26th to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose to Wilder to Diamond to Monterey.  I stopped at the Sunnyside Conservatory for some pics.  Such a gorgeous renovation.  I just love everything they did:

    Me:

I continued on Monterey to Foerster to Teresita.  I stopped at Teresita and Marietta for a pic of the pretty Miraloma Park neighborhood with a bonus radio antenna in background:

I continued on Teresita to Portola to Corbett to Ord and home for dinner.  Mr. Poe was at a movie so I had dinner with the dogs and watched Justice Leage: Crisis on Two Earths on Youtube.  It wasn't very good.  Not as horrible as last years craptastic Wonder Woman but I wouldn't watch it again.
