    I walked home from work via Nob Hill and Japantown after work on Friday to make up for my laziness that morning.  The weather was pretty nice and it was a lot of fun.  This is the view looking down Mason from California:

    I went home and had dinner and then made some stuff for our dinner party on Saturday.  I made a shrimp dip which turned out well and attempted this cherry sauce for a dessert that was a total fail.  Oh well, you can't win them all.
