  • It was freezing cold and pouring down rain when I got up.  I almost didn't go to the Different Spokes monthly Jersey Ride but TV said that it was gonna be nice and why would TV lie??  That and I was such a hot mess the day before I needed to suffer a little.  There were only couple of people at Peets when I got there.

    We headed off and I could tell right away that the grey wet weather was only in the city and that it was sunny in Marin.

    Sausalito was sunny and the rest of the ride was gorgeous.  Score!  We had a nice ride to Tiburon.  I felt pretty good.  A little hung over for some reason.  But pretty good.  We stopped at Shark's in Tiburon for lunch.

    From there we headed over to Belvedere Island.  We stopped at the pretty lookout for pics.

    From there we headed back to Sausalito and then I did Marin Headlands.  Nobody else wanted to go.  Their loss.  It was gorgeous.  This was the view from the top:

    I headed down towards Rodeo Beach and stopped for an unusual view of the bridge with the pretty beaches thrown in:

    I'm pretty sure this would have been a firing range back when this was a military base based on the way it's been excavated.  Now it's chomping central for these adorable deer:

    I headed back home and got cleaned up and then Mr. Nick and Jess came back from Napa and we took the dogs for a long walk and had dinner.  Then I hung out and waited for Mr. Poe's flight to land.  I can't wait!  Baby's back in town!!
