I made about ten full revolutions on the bicycle last night which is a huge step forward and something I'm very happy about.  I'm a couple of weeks ahead of schedule and I think I'm pretty much on track to be bicycling outside by the middle of August.   I can also report that I'm walking both up and down stairs now which feels kind of weird but isn't painful.

I wanted to take the Divisadero bus to Geary and walk to work through Japantown but I was way too late for that so I took the subway to Civic Center and took Hyde to California and then down into the Financial District on Sacramento.  It's cold and a little drizzly but that's summer in San Francisco.

Here I am in UN Plaza:

    Decolicious commercial building:

    Nicely detailed:

This apartment building at Hyde and Turk is amazing.  It has the most exuberant decoration:

    Incredible:

This building a few blocks up the hill is much simpler but nicely proportioned:

This is the Masonic Center.  I've never been inside. It's very modern fabulous on the exterior:

    This is fantastic/amazing/incredible

I love the mosaic background on these reliefs.  It's a little YMCA isn't it??
