    After work I headed off Sansome to Jackson to Davis to drop off my laundry and then up Broadway.  This is the view down Sansome with the glamorous Transamerica Pyramid:

    I continued on Broadway to Columbus to North Point to Van Ness to Francisco to Laguna to Chestnut to Lyon and into the Presidio.  I came up on Lincoln and stopped at my favorite spot for pics of the ocean and Marin:

    I continued on Lincoln into Camino Del Mar to 32nd.  Here are a few of the gorgeous homes on 32nd.  Likey:

    I continued on 32nd to Clement and then up to the VA hospital.  This campus belongs to the group of Maya Revival buildings that sprouted up in San Francisco in the 30's.  Most of the buildings haven't been heavily extended to the site is in pretty good shape.  The architecture is Deco and pretty spectacular.  I think the ornamentation is somewhat at odds with the pretty severe deco style architecture and that it's much more successfully applied to a more organic design such as the Medical Dental Building.  But I still like it a lot.  Some guy told me I shouldn't be taking pictures.  I concluded he was crazy.  Check out how gorgeous this place is:

    I took the Great Highway and went into Golden Gate Park at JFK.  I took that to the Panhandle to Stanyan to Page to Baker to Haight to Buena Vist East to Upper Terrace to Loma Vista to Roosevelt to 17th to Ord and home for dinner.  I beat Mr. Poe home again.  He's still pretty uncomfortable and he isn't sleeping well.  Poor baby.
