    My after work ride pics are going to be few and far in between for a couple of months because it's now dark when I leave work :(   I'm gonna try to take more pics over lunch so I can continue to dazzle you with the glorious city I live in.  My route choices will also be seriously impacted.  I have both head and tail lights but I stick to well lit roads when I'm riding after dark because it's a lot safer that way.  Lake Merced is out and so is the Presidio and Golden Gate Park which is only sporadically lit.  I try to stick to roads that are bike routes when I ride after dark.  I'll be spending a lot of time on Cabrillo over the next few months see ya there!

    This is Mr. Poe's garden which he works very hard on and of which he is justifiably proud.  The bougainvillea is about to take over the roses but both will be getting cut back pretty soon so it doesn't really matter.

    It rained all afternoon but it finally managed to clear up just as I was leaving work.  You have to call ahead for that kind of service.  I headed off Sutter to Fillmore to Clay to Locust to Washington to Arguello to Lake to 23rd to Cabrillo and down to the coast.  I headed down the Great Highway and then took Taravel to Merced to Hernandez to Laguna Honda to Portola to Corbett to Ord and home for dinner.
