I got up early this morning and was out of the house at 6:15. I headed off 17th to Eureka to 18th to Valencia to Tiffany to 29th to San Jose to Wilder to Diamond to Monterey to Ridgewood to Flood to Hazelwood to Greenwood to Plymouth to Wildwood to Faxon to De Montefort to Ashton to Head to Holloway to Font to Lake Merced to John Muir to Skyline to the Great Highway. I came up the coast and went into Golden Gate Park at JFK and followed it to the Panhandle to Baker to McAllister and into Civic Center where there was FINALLY enough light for pics.
Asian Art Museum:
The tent is partially obscuring the view of the Federal building I like so much. What I think is interesting about this shot is that the lights are on in the building and gives an addition layer of transparency to the structure that I like:
This is the victory garden at Civic Center. I remember the first time I saw this I rolled my eyes and wondered how much it was costing to keep the homeless out of it. The answer: $3500 a week. Thankfully, it's coming out soon which is good because I think those funds would be better spent elsewhere:
Parts of it are pretty:
City Hall:
Me with City Hall behind me.
I took Larkin to Grove to Market to Sansome and into work.
