    I watched cartoons all weekend.  Again.  Mr. Poe had the flu and I was looking after him all weekend and lordy he isn't, you know, low maintenance.  I did, however, manage to make it to the comic book sale at the comic book store on Ocean Ave and got all sorts of good stuff.  They've got a lot more back issues than the place in the Castro.  I like. 

    I slept in this morning an just came down Market into work.  After work I headed off Sutter Street where I got a few shots of this Victorian.  I'm not sure what it is.  I think it's a private club.  I love that they varnished as opposed to painted some of the wood on the entrance.  It's so pretty and so unusual:

    I continued on Sutter to Presidio to Euclid to Arguello to Cabrillo and down to the coast.  I came down the Great Highway and stopped south of Sloat for a pic of the angry ocean:

    I continued on the Great Highway to Skyline to Lake Merced to Middlefield to Eucalyptus to Ocean to Faxon to Southwood to Greenwood to Plymouth to Hazelwood to Flood to Circular to Diamond to Chenery to Randall to San Jose to 29th to Tiffany to Valencia to 19th to La Pidge.  I stopped at the women's building on 18th street for pics.  It's pretty on 18th but the best view is totally on La Pidge which is interesting because it's basically an alley.  It's got such glorious detail:

     

    I continued on 18th to Castro to Market to 17th to Ord and home for dinner.
