    I didn't go riding in the morning.  I blame sweet little Ashley for this.  I got up early and had breakfast and then he was sleeping on the bed all cuddled up and looking so angelic and I couldn't help myself from curling up next to him for an hour and half.  So I just came down Market and into work.  Ove lunch I went for a walk on Telegraph Hill which I don't believe I've visited since Mr. Nick moved away.  Everything was in bloom and it looked beautiful.  Here are some pics of the Filbert Street steps.  A lot of the buildings look to me to be pre earthquake:

    Matisse-esque sculpture in a garden on Filbert.  Seems to me to be a little less "Matisse" and a little more "orgy".  Zing!

    After work I had some mileage to make up so I headed off Columbus to North Point to Van Ness to Francisco to Gough to Chestnut to Lyon and into the Presidio.  I came around on Lincoln and then went over the Golden Gate Bridge, down into Sausalito and then along the bike path into Mill Valley.  I stopped at city hall to take a few pics.  It's a fantastic building and so nicely detailed:

    I came back along the bike path and then through Sausalito and then back over the bridge.  I came out of the Presidio at 15th Ave and then took Lake to 23rd to Cabrillo to 30th and into Golden Gate Park.  I took JFK to Chain of Lakes to MLK to the Great Highway and then south.  I stopped for a few pics of the beautiful ocean in the setting sun:

    I continued on the Great Highway to Taravel to Merced to Hernandez to Laguna Honda to Portola and Corbett and home.  Our friends Elaine and Megan came over for dinner and then I went to bed.
