  • I headed off after work Sutter to Fillmore to Clay to Walnut to Washington to Arguello.  I stopped at Presidio Terrace for a few pics:

    This is the former residence of Senator Dianne Feinstein.  She moved to a bigger place in Pacific Heights.  I like this place much better.  The roof has an interesting shingle design that is very artistic:

    I took Arguello to Lake to 30th.  This beautiful home is at 30th and Sea View Terrace.  It has enormous rose bushes all around it.  They smell great too:

    I continued on 30th to Clement to 34th to Balboa and down to the coast. I came down the Great Highway and stopped at the foot of Sloat for some pictures of the cold, angry looking Pacific:

    I continued on the Great Highway to Skyline to Lake Merced to Middlefield to Eucalyptus into Ocean to San Fernando to Saint Francis to Santa Clara.  I think this house is on Santa Clara.  I think the black paint on the entrance is new and I'm not sure I love it.  It's very dramatic but I'm not convinced it's the best look for this building.  The portal has such great architecture and the paint highlights it without accentuating it's detail which is a mistake because it has such great detail:
