Tuesday, April 8
It was a little cloudy and windy and cold. Still. I headed off after work Columbus to North Point to Van Ness to Francisco to Laguna to Chestnut to Lyon and into the Presidio. I came around on Lincoln and stopped at the bridge for a picture:
I continued on Lincoln into Camino Del Mar. This is the view down 27th from El Camino Del Mar. Spectacular:
This is me with 27th in the background:
I continued up Camino Del Mar and stopped at the Palace of the Legion of Honor for some pics. Here's the big cool yellow thing I love so much. It actually makes Mr. Poe angry. "What the hell is that??" he demanded.
Here's another view of the di Suvero sculpture that I have such mixed feelings about it. From this angle I totally get "Gumby as cheerleader". Not a good thing.
This is the view bak towards the Presdio from the Palace of the Legion of Honor:
And the view of Marin from the same vantage point:
My bike against the gates. Is it art??
I came down Legion of Honor to Clement into Seal Rock. This is the view from Seal Rock and Camino Del Mar:
I came down Point Lobos and then took the Great Highway south. I stopped for a shot of the setting sun just west of the zoo:
I came around Lake Merced on Skyline to Lake Merced to WInston and then into Ingleside Terrace. There's a bunch of beautiful homes there:
I took Mercedes to Cerritos to Ocean to Faxon to Elmwood to Eastwood to San Ramon to Plymouth to Greenwood to Staples to Foerster to Teresita to Portola to Corbett and then home. Fun day.
