We had a great Lifecycle training ride out to Lucas Valley through glorious China Camp. It's pretty much my favorite of the series. I spent the first part of the ride racing with this super cute rider named Mike. He's from Oklahoma, where I'm guessing he's described as "A little slice of heaven right here on Earth.":
I had to point at a turn for a while and then the sweeps came through and we headed to lunch. Lunch is at this little deli on Lucas Valley Road where they're really nice and it's a really fun place to stop. Just look how delighted Sandra looks:
As do the rest of the riders:
Kurt learned his posing skills from Miss Jay. Sandra realized she had a flat just as we were getting ready to leave. I found the piece offending of glass. Yes me. And you thought all I was good for was looking pretty.
This is the view from the parking lot of the deli. Spectactular:
We headed up to the top of Lucas Valley. I think it's called Big Rock Hill because of the big rocks at the top of it. I headed up first so I could get a few shots of the rest of the riders as they came up. This is Andrew. This is his first ride with us and he had a lot of fun:
Here he is with me and I'm totally rocking the he-cleavage:

Next came Sandra and Kurt:
Ben in his signature (read ONLY) outfit:
And finally Kelly and Marvin. Good job guys!
We headed back into San Francisco. I kind of got in trouble in Fairfax for feeding scones to a dog who, evidently,l was "too fat already" but in my defense he was begging really hard and I'm only human. I got home about 5:30 and Mr. Poe had dinner ready for me (huzzah!) and we took the dogs to the park and I went to bed.
