I almost didn't go biking because my boys looked so adorable:
But it was a pretty morning so off I went. I headed up Corbett to Clayton. This building is at 17th and Clayton. It's so fabulous. It just looks incredible:
I continued on Clayton to Parnassus to Cole to Beulah to Stanyon and into Golden Gate Park. I rode throught the park on JFK down to the ocean and then took the Great Highway down to Sloat where I stopped to ogle the surfers.
This guy was hosing his junk out for an astonishingly long time. Call me a chester, but if you're going hose out your business in public I'm going to take pictures and put them on my blog:
I continued down the Great Highway and then got on Skyline and then took the 1 down into Pacifica. This is Rockaway beach:
I headed up towards Devil's Slide. This is the new tunnel they're building to bypass the area prone to slides. It's cool to watch it going in:
This is the view North towards the Marin Headlands from Devil's Slide:
And the view down. Watch that last step!
And one of me with the ocean behind me:
This is the other side of that tunnel.
I continued down the 1 towards Half Moon Bay. These are some surfers heading out at Montara State Beach:
This is the view of the bay:
I went into Half Moon Bay and then continued south to Tunitas Creek Road. There are pretty farms on the lower part of it.
I then climbed all the way up to Skyline and then down King's Mountain into Woodside. This is the view about halfway down King's Mountain:
I rode through Woodside. This pretty church is on Woodside Road:
I continued on Woodside to Canada into Skyline to Sloat to Portola to Corbett and back home. It was a beautiful day.
