    I got up early and took Rufus for a two hour walk because we wanted him to be nice and sleepy when the guests came.  He had lots of fun and behaved pretty much perfectly.  He's such a good boy.  I got back and made Jeffery some country gravy and then got on my bike and headed out Corbett to Clayton to Waller to Stanyon and into Golden Gate Park.  I took JFK to Bernice Rodgers to MLK and then rode down the coast on the bike path.  I stopped at the beach at the foot of Sloat where the oild spill cleanup continues:

    There was crazy surf out the surfers were out in force:

    And, of course, the view of me:

    I think a bunch of the surfers were deciding whether the waves were too big to go in.  They kind of looked like I do when I'm trying to make the call about whether it's too rainy to go riding:

    I continued down the coast Great Highway to Skyline and south.  I stopped just south of the Olympic club where there's a beautiful view of the coast. I think that's Devil's Slide jutting out into the ocean:

    I took skyline to Westridge to Southgate to 87th.  This is the view of Daly City from there looking North towards the Marin Headlands:

    I continued on 87th Street and got this picture of this Barbeque place that you could smell for two miles away and that Mr. Poe would likely enjoy:

    I continued on 87th into School to Mission to Garibaldi to Price to Guadelupe Parkway and headed up.  I turned on Radio road and headed up to the top of the San Bruno Mountains.  It was a lot of climbing but the views were spectacular:

    This is the Airport.  You can see everything from up there!

    I headed down Radio back to Guadalupe Canyon to Bayshore to San Bruno where I saw this unbelievably fabulous fire station.  Love it, love it, love it:

    I continued on San Bruno to Silver to Cambridge over the pedestrian footbridge into Saint Mary's Park and then Justin to College to Mission to Richland to Arlington to San Jose Ave to 29th to Tiffany to Valencia to 19th to Dolores to 18th to Diamond to 17th and then home.
