    I had a visitor in the afternoon!  Mr. Chris and Sofi, the world's sweetest dog!  They were out on a walk and stopped by to hang out with me:

    While we were out walking I took a picture of this cool building at Montgomery and Sutter which is currently getting some facade repair for damage it got during the 1989 quake.  There's been a scaffold around it since I moved here to protect pedestrians from pieces that might fall off it an I'm hoping that's finally going to go away because it's a spectacularly beautiful building:

      

    After work I headed out Columbus to North Point to Van Ness to Greenwich to Octavia to Union.  Christmas has already come to Union Street!:

    I continued on Union to Webster up into Pacific Heights.  All of the streets heading out of the Marina into Pacific Heights are steep but I think that Webster might be the steepest.  I totally felt like throwing up when I got to the top of it and that feeling lingered for the rest of my ride.  I took Webster to Sacramento to Arguello to Lake to 8th into Golden Gate Park.  I came out of the park at 9th Ave and then went Judah into Parnassus to Clayton to 17th and then home.
