I headed off after work Sutter to Polk where I got a flat tire. I love changing a tire in the Polk. It’s that eclectic mix of crackheads and trannies that keep the neighborhood humming. So to speak. I forgot to stuff a new tube in my bag after I changed my flat on Monday, so I had to patch it and, alas, it didn’t hold when I tried to inflate it. #%#@#$!!!!! I didn’t have another cartridge or tube and I was in road shoes and I was kind of out of options. I called Chris Duplantis who came to my rescue with Sofi, the world’s sweetest dog. My hero.
