Wednesday I was super late so I came down into Market into work. I headed home mid day and then led an ALC training ride out to Tiburon in the afternoon. We had eight riders including me which might be a record for the Wednesday rides. We had three riders from Team Unpopular who are the nicest, funnest people that you could ask for. The weather was perfect– very warm but not exactly hot and with a bit of a breeze. I thought everybody rode pretty well and I got back to the Castro with the last riders at about 7:30. I headed home to deal with Mr. Poe. We’ve been having utility work on my street the last couple of weeks and the replaced the gas lines. Having to deal with PG&E to get the gas turned back on subsequently wasn’t the seamless process that he’d been promised and he was in a rage when I got home. Luckily, the gas had already been turned on so the dogs and I didn’t have to go sleep in a safe house that night.
