    It rained all day but finally cleared up when I was going home so I went for a longer ride than I usually get after work.  I rode Sutter to Presidio to Euclid to Arguello.  I saw this protest on Arguello at the Burmese Consolate.  It’s hard to be a Junta!

    From there I headed into Golden Gate Park and then out to the ocean on JFK.  The storm had whipped up the surf and that meant one thing– surfers!  I got the nod from one of them who was walking back to his car.  He must think the bikers are cool.  Or at the very least dry.

    I headed down the Great Highway and then came up Vicente.  I stopped for a few pics at St. Cecilia’s, which is my favorite:

    Then I headed up Taravel to Dewey to Merced.  Merced is a pretty street with great views of our famous radio tower:

     I continued on Merced to Garcia to Idora to Portola.  I stopped to take a pic of the city before heading home on Corbett:
