Dean Johnson, NY nightlife legend and frontman of the 80′s band “Dean and the Weenies” died under mysterious circumstances on September 20. You can read more about it here and here. It’s not really known at this time whether he was a casualty of the lifestyle he was leading or something more sinister. I thought he was great and I used to play his song “Chicken” on my radio show back at Tulane all the time. Thanks to YouTube, you can check him out as well.
